- Public Health Emergency Services: in response to WHO’s calls to African Governments to prepare for the worst scenario, the Order of Architects of Angola oriented its members to participate in training sessions available on the World Health Organisation platform (e.g. Severe Acute Respiratory Infection – SARI. Treatment Facility Design) for improving existing healthcare facilities or adapt other facilities to emergency situations.
- How this pandemic is affecting architectural practice: OA is creating working groups to analyse the current situation, contribute to a model to refinance the economy and support the Government in the post-COVID-19 phase. It will also examine the adequacy of existing facilities and public services in containing and combating COVID-19.
