As part of the UN-Habitat World Urban Campaign, the UIA recently organised the latest global online Urban Thinkers Campus webinar, entitled: Architects’ response in reshaping our cities that are resilient to pandemic situations. As the places of people’s work and residence, the built environment is regarded as a crucial aspect of COVID-19 prevention and control. The Chinese National Assessment Standard for Green Building (GB/T 50378-2019) expands the connotation of green building, which pays more attention to the safety, health and livability on the basis of “four savings and environmental protection”. This paper puts forward the contribution of GB/T 50378-2019 during the process of COVID-19 prevention and control.
JIA has launched its own official COVID-19 Architectural Information Hub.
JIA has been operating under the same restrictions as many of the UIA’s other national organisations. The Japanese government’s State of Emergency was extended until 25 May in Tokyo and four other prefectures (Chiba, Kanagawa, Saitama and Hokkaido). It is now lifted. The JIA office opened on 26 May 2020.

The UIA Public Health Group (PHG) has developed a PHG COVID-19 Bulletin. The Bulletin includes news, webinars, conferences, information, projects, guidelines and research related to environmental approaches that help fight the COVID-19 virus.
The information was collected from different UIA-PHG member countries and major world organizations such as WHO and IHF (International Hospital Federation).

REGENERATIVE CAPSULTOL 01 FOR COVID-19 PATIENTS
CAPSULTOL is an isolation module for COVID-19 patients, incorporating ancestral knowledge of the medicinal properties of eucalyptus, chamomile, cocoa and medicinal plants, as well as modern medicine and theories of regenerative architecture. Its construction is sustainable, since it uses recycled materials, and it can be installed in 2 days. It operatates mainly on solar power and includes a ventilation system that generates a microclimate suitable for the recovery of the patient, adapted to the altitude in which it is located.
